A
two day Arts event aimed at promoting social inclusion, equality and
disability awareness; presented by Barnet Disabled for Independence with
Support in the Community (BDISC) and Barnet Independent Living Service
(BILS).
"Wake Up And See The Music" will include two
Colour of Music workshops by profoundly deaf flautist Ruth Montgomery
and a pottery workshop; as well as an exhibition of work by disabled
artists. Information and advice of disability issues will also be
available.
The event is open to everyone.

| Seasonal Fair 21st November 2010 | On November 21st North London Hospice's Annual Seasonal Fair will take place in Avenue House. This popular fair which originated in one of the homes of a volunteer has grown so much that in November, Avenue House will be transformed into a festive market with stalls filled with wonderful gifts and ideas for the festive season.
