| North London Eating Disorders Group
This group is for men and women aged 18+ who generally live in Barnet, Enfield or Haringey We do ask for discretionary donations but no one is turned away. However we are open to anyone from outside the local area who has an eating disorder. For those who live outside these areas a non-negotiable charge of £10 covers the cost of attendance.
WE are not a slimming group.
WE work with anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, over eating, borderline personality disorder food issues. We are pro recovery and offer psychotherapeutic support.
We are registered with Beat the national eating disorders charity and funded by the local NHS and local authorities and receive assistance from Avenue House Estate Mangement.
The group is co-ordinated by Fenella Lemonsky an experienced service user/expert by experience in eating disorders and mental health issues.
Dr Shameel Khan a psychiatrist/trainee in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the Tavistock Clinic works with us and Laura Farleigh MA, an experienced art psychotherapist to keep the group safe.
Note: All groups are on a Sunday once a month and start at 10.30am

North London Hospice provides specialist end-of-life care for 1300 patients and their families in the boroughs of Barnet, Enfield and Haringey. We are only part funded by the NHS and need to raise over £4 million every year from the communities we serve to ensure that we can continue to meet the costs of caring for our patients.
In tune with the communities that we serve we are a truly multi-faith Hospice. We offer a variety of specialist services through a diverse professional team, including doctors, nurses, social workers, counsellors, physiotherapists, chaplains and more than 400 volunteers who assist in every area of Hospice's work.
Our services are free and are provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in order that we can be there when needed.
